Friday 5th – Monday 8th March, 2010

Day ONE
Pick your group up at your location with a local coach for the 1405hrs flight from Belfast International to Amsterdam and returning on the 1700hrs flight from Amsterdam to Belfast International. Local coach pick up at airport and drop group back at their location.

Flight includes each passenger 20kg of hold baggage as well as one piece of hand luggage. You need your own travel insurance. Luxury coach pick up at the airport to take us to our hotel in The Hague. The coach is equipped with the latest conveniences like air-conditioning, double glazing, panoramic view, air-suspension, toilets, fridge, radio, cd and seatbelts. The coach company is family owned, fully bonded and insured. A copy of insurance can be inspected in my possession. All the drivers are multi-lingual. On arrival at the hotel, check in, freshen up to receive a welcome drink before our evening meal which can be a buffet style or a 3 course dinner. Time to relax.

Day TWO
Depart our hotel at 0930hrs by coach to visit Delft where we can experience and explore this historic city with it monumental houses, beautiful gables, tree-bordered canals, picturesque bridges and impressive market square. Have your lunch in the square in front of the townhall. Most Saturdays there is a market in the square. Return to the times of William of Orange! A guide provided for you to see the New Church, the Old Church and the Prinsenhof Museum. The New Church - burial place of the “Orange” family. Tonight upon arrival back in The Hague you can dine in one of the many 150 restaurants nearby your hotel before retiring for the night.

Day THREE
After breakfast we meet our guide Chris at the hotel for a walking tour retracing the steps of the Orange forefathers and listening to him impart his knowledge of the Williamite Trail and the historic city. During the tour we will see the buildings used by the Orange family during the years of Williams youth, see the houses of his political enemies and the place where they died, paving the way to power for Prince William III of Orange.

We walk where he walked and we see the beautiful houses that were made by one of his house-architects, Daniel Marot (Hugenot).

Although the city of The Hague grew a lot after 1705, there are still places that still have the same atmosphere as when he was young. The Castle of The Hague (1248AD) was already an old building in his days, it is still used by Queen Beatrix of Orange today.
The famous Lange Voorhout Boulevard (1534 AD) was also known to the Prince of Orange, we will have a little stop there to drink some tea, or coffee. The tour will give you a very good impression of the world William III, King of England, Steward of Holland, lived in. Back to your hotel where the coach will then transfer you to Amsterdam, the capital for free time to shop and see other famous sights!!!!!! At 2000 hrs tonight I have booked a 3 course dinner cruise on board one of the glass topped boats which tours the canals thought the city. Also included is beer, wine, soft drinks, coffee & tea. During the 2 hour cruise you enjoy company and share the delights of seeing Amsterdam from the water. Coach picks us up after the cruise and back to our hotel.

Day FOUR
After a hearty breakfast and our cases packed we board the coach again on our homeward journey. Leave The Hague behind and visit Saanse Schans which offers different buildings, windmills - you will get the feeling that you have stepped back in time. There are traditional craft shops like the Wooden shoe workshop, the pewter foundry, the cheese farm to name but a few. Have yourselves a bite of lunch before boarding the coach to the airport which is over an hour away for your journey home. On arrival at the airport a coach will pick you up and drop off at departure point.
